Creating a healthy workplace means, first and foremost, putting people at the center. It is from this belief that the journey began which led IVS Italia S.p.A. – at its sites in Bergamo, Seriate, and Pedrengo – to obtain the “Workplace That Promotes Health” certification, awarded as part of the WHP (Workplace Health Promotion) program of the Lombardy Region and the Lifestyle Survey System.
The WHP program, promoted by local health authorities (ATS) and based on the principles of the World Health Organization, engages companies in a voluntary pathway aimed at improving wellbeing in the workplace. The rationale is clear: the professional environment can become a context that encourages healthy choices, supports more conscious lifestyles, and contributes to people’s overall wellbeing.
Within this process, IVS Italia worked on various areas of intervention envisaged by the WHP model, such as: nutrition, physical activity, work-life balance, etc.
Every action, even the simplest one, is part of a broader vision of responsibility and care. The WHP certification is not a final destination, but rather a confirmation of a commitment that is built day by day, in a shared and collective way.
Because wellbeing is not a time-limited project: it is a journey that grows together with people.
