Atalanta, with the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project and with the valuable collaboration with the Nembrese 1913 Society, has welcomed this special team composed of young people with intellectual-relational disabilities. Thanks to the adoption formula, the 21 players wear the Nerazzurri jersey.
A choice made to raise awareness of the issue of disability and to guarantee dignity, rights and the well-being of disabled people.
The Special team is accompanied and supported in their activities on and off the pitch by the educational and technical staff of Atalanta and Nembrese 1913.
Atalanta For Special was also created with the intention of offering these youngsters, a life path and an opportunity to design the future, which translates into a number of experiences at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia, invitations to the Gewiss Stadium, and activities with the Atalanta Youth Sector.
All organised events in which the Atalanta For Special team will participate, will have as their objective the sharing of fundamental values such as inclusion and appreciation of diversity, values in which Atalanta strongly believes.
