This is demonstrated by the results achieved over the past year: 6 new photovoltaic systems installed, 2,834 vending machines refurbished and put back into service to extend their useful life, and 80% of total waste recovered.
We have also expanded the use of compostable and reusable stirrers, increased the offer of Hybrid-Bio cups, and introduced snacks packaged with solutions that reduce plastic.
In addition, we obtained eleven certifications in the fields of quality, environment, and safety, confirming the strength of our journey.
Another area of focus concerns recovery and recycling projects, which have led to significant savings in emissions. The recovery of plastic cups avoided 749 tons of CO₂, while the use of R-Hybrid Flo cups cut 480 tons. The use of 100% recycled San Benedetto bottles reduced emissions by 5,947 tons, while recovering coffee grounds saved another 96 tons. These figures tell the story of a concrete commitment to a more circular model capable of turning waste into new resources.
But our concept of sustainability goes beyond the environmental aspect and puts people at the center.
Today we have 4,605 employees, over 93% of whom have permanent contracts, and more than half are between 30 and 50 years old.
In the past year, 9,062 hours of training were organized and 59 optional courses were activated, demonstrating how strongly we believe in skills development and individual growth.
The process to obtain gender equality certification is also underway, further proof of our determination to create an inclusive and fair environment.
