On our journey toward more equitable and respectful communication, we have drafted the Manifesto for Inclusive Language in the Workplace—a concrete tool for promoting inclusion through the words we use every day.
The manifesto stems from the awareness that language is fundamental: every word helps define the environment in which we work, conveying values, visions, and relationships. For this reason, we have chosen to offer two versions of the document:

  • a concise version, designed for quick and immediate consultation;
  • a full version, which explores principles, practical examples, and guidelines for inclusive communication at all levels.

The document invites you to:

  • use neutral and inclusive terms;
  • avoid stereotypes and predefined gender roles;
  • respect people’s identity and self-definition;
  • simplify inclusive writing to make it accessible;
  • apply these principles to every type of communication, including technical or formal ones.

The manifesto has been shared internally with all collaborators, becoming an integral part of our company culture. We use it as a reference when drafting emails, presentations, training materials, and official communications, ensuring consistency and respect in every message.

Every word matters. And every action, even the smallest, helps build a fairer, more open, and welcoming work environment.
